George died when Stephen was 8, and Mae died a year later, leaving Stephen’s siblings to raise him. Stephen was the youngest of Mae and George Siller’s seven children. “Our first mission at Tunnel to Towers is that we never forget, and we honor the sacrifice.” “I decided to do this because I wanted to do something special for the 20th anniversary of 9/11 that would shine a big light on what happened,” Frank Siller said. The endeavor will benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which Frank and his family created in Stephen’s honor.
